Not a “farewell Twitter” manifesto, but close

I resolved to write more for myself in 2022. Eleven months in, I regret that I have not done so.

My phone’s notes app is full of ideas, seeds, outlines — even a couple first drafts — that I can’t launch. Because I don’t have time (or desire) to strategize and optimize and monetize.

There used to be a time when that didn’t stop me. I didn’t care if no one cared.

Am I simply more mature, more judicious with my time and energy? Doubt it.
