What do you do when your words are misattributed online?

The news broke on a Friday. I remember this because it was my deadline day, and I was working from home. Still panting from my morning run, I checked Twitter on my phone.

“Oh, no.”

My husband startled awake. I walked to his side of the bed.

“Bourdain is gone,” I said, as if he were a dear acquaintance and not some guy I liked to watch on TV.
